Fiberon composite decking goes on water

Fiberon® composite decking material is the way forward for new installations, especially marina quay, pier, pontoon, pool and hot-tub surround and play area, because the material resists water and harsh weather. Many of the Fiberon® decking materials that SEAC sold have been used in garden or landscaping projects and SEAC is particularly proud with a pontoon project at Summer Lake, Gloucester (by Marinetek UK) in June 2011.

Fiberon® composites are engineered from a composition of at least 80% recycled plastics and wood. The high-density polyethylene (HDPE) is acquired from recycled plastics and wood flour from recycled wood. The composites are extruded without the use of toxic chemicals in the process.

The resultant composite material is a tougher, more durable and safer material compared to wood and is almost maintenance free. There is no need for staining or painting ever, to protect it from fading or cracking. In addition, the slip resistance factor, an important consideration for a deck, is better than wood, making Fiberon suitable for any environment.

All the materials come in a range of colours and sizes with the Professional grey board being thicker than others as it is dedicated for use in marine environment. Details can be found in the www.fiberon-europe.com website.

In stock and supplied from the Midlands by SEAC Ltd, are 2.44m and 3.66m length decking boards from the 'Professional' range, 'Inspiration' railing in white (pvc) and garden fencing and posts kit in Pacific Redwood. Customers can buy or request a quote directly from SEAC.
