Incorporated originally as H&S Pochin Limited in 1916 as part of the Standard Engineering Company manufacturing fasteners and ancillary products, SEAC has now developed into a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialised fastening solutions to a range of industries in the UK and export markets.

SEAC pioneered Polytops^® polymer headed fasteners over 20 years ago and this has been a growth area for the company. Today SEAC is a market leader in specialist construction fasteners working with major manufacturers of PVC-u cellular board within the industry.

The plastic top/head pins, nails, screws and rivets, also referred by industry as Polytops^® have now been adopted for many manufacturing applications which has enabled SEAC to diversify into new niche areas through our continual policy of development and ability to embrace technological advancements.

To complement these products in the building sector SEAC acquired Lightning Stranglehold Banding^® to supply flexible metal banding or hose clip products and also began to manufacture injection moulded Glazing Packers and Powder Coated Fasteners. Most recently SEAC has moved into the supply of newly introduced direct-insert concrete or masonry screws, in their new range Con-sert fixings for concrete or masonry applications.
